Jessica graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School and then went on to receive her degree in dietetics from Kansas State University.  After graduation, Jessica moved to Joplin, Missouri and began working for the next four years for Freeman Health System as a dietitian.  Jessica currently works in Lamar, Missouri.

On June 21, 2008, Jessica married Josh Houdyshell in a beautiful ceremony at their home.  All of their relatives were able to attend and share the special day with them.  Jessica and Josh are anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child in January, 2009.
